Turner Classic Movies’ (TCM) signature fan-favorite event, the TCM Classic Film Festival, will return to Hollywood, CA on Thursday, April 30 through Sunday, May 3, 2026. Movie lovers will descend upon Hollywood Boulevard for the 17th edition with world-class programming that will focus on (or around) the theme “The World Comes to Hollywood.” Films showcased will honor gifted and vital artists, innovators and craftsmen who arrived from other lands to Hollywood to establish and evolve the art, commerce and cultural impact of cinema-making with extraordinary motion pictures, many which are now enshrined as part of our national film heritage.

Over four packed days and nights, attendees will be treated to an extensive lineup of great movies, appearances by legendary stars and filmmakers, fascinating presentations and panel discussions, special events, and more. Continuing its longstanding legacy of film preservation, impactful storytelling, and memorable experiences curated for fans, the network has become a cornerstone in the film industry and created a community for cinephiles alike. TCM Classic Film Festival attendees rated their 2025 experience as the highest in satisfaction in more than five years, noting that they are likely to return and will recommend the festival to others.
The festival’s official hotel and central gathering point will be The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, which has a longstanding role in movie history and was the site of the first Academy Awards ceremony. The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel will also offer special rates for festival attendees. Passes for the 2026 TCM Classic Film Festival will go on sale in December and will include a special Early Bird discount window.
