Chevy Chase, Lainie Kazan, Deana Martin and Sean Young Join 2022 TCM Classic Cruise

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) today announced legendary comedian and actor Chevy Chase, actress and singer Lainie Kazan, author and recording artist Deana Martin, and Blade Runner star Sean Young are set to take sail with the TCM Classic Cruise, sailing November 12-17, 2022, from Miami to Grand Cayman and Disney Castaway Cay on the majestic Disney Dream. They will join previously announced stars including Academy Award-winner Richard Dreyfuss, celebrated child star Margaret O’Brien, and world-renowned fashion designer Bob Mackie. In addition, actor, producer, and grandson of actors Joel McCrea and Frances Dee, Wyatt McCrea, founder and co-president of Rialto Pictures and Director of Repertory Programming at New York’s Film Forum cinema Bruce Goldstein, and award-winning television writer and animation historian Mark McCray will join all five TCM hosts for film screenings, special fan events and in-depth interviews aboard this unforgettable classic movie experience at sea.
 
CHEVY CHASE
One of the most honored and beloved comedians of his generation, Chevy Chase rose to international fame as the head writer and a key cast member in the inaugural season of NBC’s Saturday Night Live where “Weekend Update”, which he created, quickly became a staple of the show. He won two Emmys for his writing the first year of SNL.  

Soon after endearing himself to television audiences, Chevy made his feature film debut in the comedy-thriller Foul Play (1978) with Goldie Hawn. He went on to star in many memorable films, in 1980 alone both Caddyshack and Seems Like Old Times were smash hit films. Chase is also well known for his portrayal of the character Clark Griswold in four National Lampoon’s Vacation films (1983-1997) and his roles in other successful movie classic comedies including Fletch (1985), Spies Like Us (1985), Three Amigos! (1986), Funny Farm (1988), Cops and Robbersons (1994), and Man of the House (1995), to name just a few highlights from his diverse career.  
 
LAINIE KAZAN
An actress and singer who got her start in the original Broadway production of Funny Girl, Lainie Kazan has appeared in a wide range of movies, from One from the Heart (1981) and My Favorite Year (1982) to Beaches (1988) and My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002). She is the recipient of Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe nominations and her celebrated singing career has taken her to concert halls around the world.
 
DEANA MARTIN
A world-class recording artist with numerous hit albums under her belt, Deana Martin is also a New York Times-bestselling author for her memoir, Memories Are Made of This: Dean Martin Through His Daughter’s Eyes. She first appeared in movies in the 1969 western Young Billy Young and continues to entertain audiences worldwide with live performances in showrooms, jazz clubs, and symphony halls.
 
SEAN YOUNG
A dazzling variety of roles has established Sean Young as one of her generation’s most versatile actresses, from an otherworldly replicant in Blade Runner (1982) to a seductive mistress in No Way Out (1987), to twin sisters in A Kiss Before Dying (1991), to a Miami Police lieutenant in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994). Her prolific career continues with appearances in numerous independent films and television series. 
 
WYATT MCCREA
A lifelong lover of film, Wyatt is the oldest grandchild of actor/rancher Joel McCrea and his wife, actress Frances Dee, and he is deeply involved in the ongoing historical preservation of his grandparents’ work. He has worked as a producer and actor in television and film productions including The Contested Plains, Gen’s Guiltless Gourmet, Call 911, Big History, and the award-winning documentary Floating Horses: The Life of Casey Tibbs (2017).
 
BRUCE GOLDSTEIN
Bruce Goldstein is the founder and co-president of Rialto Pictures and Director of Repertory Programming at New York’s Film Forum cinema. In recent years, Goldstein has developed a new career as an acclaimed documentarian with acclaimed short films like “In the Footsteps of Speedy,” “The Art of Subtitles,” and “Pelham One Two Three: NYC Underground,” which was commissioned by TCM in 2021.
 
MARK MCCRAY
Mark McCray is an award-winning television writer who has been in the broadcasting industry for over 20 years. He has a passion for animation, television programming strategy, and comic books and is the author of The Best Saturdays of Our Lives, a book that chronicles the origins of competitive Saturday morning animated programming. McCray is the host of The Best Saturdays of our Lives Podcast along with cohost Dan Klink.
