Press release: IDW has been recognized by the committee of the 2021 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards with a combined eleven nods this year (ten nominations and one shared nomination). Two projects, Jared Cullum’s graphic novel Kodi and Stan Sakai’s long-running Usagi Yojimbo comic series, received two nominations apiece. The prestigious award ceremony honors exemplary work from the previous year in comics publishing.
“On behalf of everyone at IDW Publishing, we’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Eisner committee for recognizing the passion, skill, and hard work of so many talented creators with this year’s nominations,” says publisher Nachie Marsham. “It’s delightful to see such a diverse array of projects embraced by the comics community, and we wish all the nominees the best of luck!”
