TCM's 31 Days of Oscar From A to Z continues this week, starting with I'll Cry Tomorrow, a biography about actress Lillian Roth, which won an Academy Award for Best Costume Design for Helen Rose, through to the musical Pennies from Heaven, which saw Dennis Potter nominated for an Academy Award for Writing Adapted Screenplay based on the 1978 BBC Series he wrote.
