Cinema Sentries and Hal Leonard have teamed up to give three lucky readers the opportunity to win a book from Limelight Editions new series Music on Film.  The paperbacks are 4.75" by 6.25" and as their press release states, "each book highlights one musical film from every angle."

This is Spinal Tap is the 1984 comedy classic about the struggles of an aging rock band from the creative minds of Harry Shearer, Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Rob Reiner.  The music ranged from hard rock songs "Hell Hole" and "Big Bottom" to a previous incarnation of the band during the British Invasion on "Gimme Some Money". Sentry Greg Barbrick weighed in and gave the book high marks. There are two copies of this book to giveaway.

Based on the 1957 Broadway musical, West Side Story, winner of 10 Academy Awards out of 11 nominations including Best Picture, adapts William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and sets it in 1950s New York City with the street gangs the Jets (white kids) and the Sharks (Puerto Rican kids) in place of the Montagues and the Capulets. Leonard Bernstein's music and Stephen Sondheim's lyrics are brilliant together, creating legendary songs like "America", "Somewhere", "Gee, Officer Krupke", and many others. There is one copy of this book to giveaway.
