In celebration of Wizards' 35th anniversary, Twentieth Century Fox is releasing the studio's first animated feature film in a special edition Blu-ray + Book release that contains never-before-seen artwork and a special message from Bakshi.

As described on Bakshi's website, the story of Wizards is "an ambiguous battle between good and evil wages in a post-apocalyptic earth populated by netherworld creatures who have re-emerged after the nuclear winter. Two wizard twin brothers - the evil Blackwolf and the good Avatar - battle for supremacy. The war turns in Blackwolf's favor when he discovers the methods of warfare used by the ill-fated humans of the past."

Mark Hamill, who plays Sean, the leader of the fairies, took time off from Star Wars to record his part.
